Role-Playing Guide
What is Role-Playing?
Role-Playing is a play by play written text between two or more characters on the site. There are many types of roleplaying options, some to keep in mind are the following:
Plotted / Unplotted Role-Playing
Plotted Roleplays are discussed before hand, either in PM or on the roleplay finder Forum. These roleplays will have a pre-discussed plot that all characters must follow. Most of these will not allow extra characters to join in, but some occasionally do.
Unplotted Roleplays are not dicussed beforehand and anything can happen in these. The player creating the roleplay will need to set the plot in the first post and make sure to add enough detail for other characters to join in and add on to it. Characters can add their own effects in these roleplays, they can really go where ever the characters want.
Partnered / Grouped Role-Playing
Partnered Roleplays are between two characters only. These two people can either use Plotted or Unplotted style of playing. Anyone may read these roleplays but may not join in.
Grouped Roleplaying is between three or more people and usually use Plotted Roleplaying. This roleplaying can either allow more people or not allow more people to join. It is really up to the person/people who created the role play.
How Do I Get Started?
Head over to the Roleplay finder Forum and post a thread saying what you are looking for. Who want to RP with... What you want to RP about... How many members can join... Opened or Closed RP... Plotted or Unplotted...
You can also just head over to the RP forums and start a thread and wait for someone to join in on your RP.
Looking For...
1. Your Character Name:
2. How many Characters can Join:
3. Is there a set Plot:
4. What species can join:
